Project Overview

Tsjerkepaad is a cultural heritage initiative that opens hundreds of historic churches across Friesland to visitors each summer. While working with them, I create photography and social media content to strengthen the organization's online presence and showcase the beauty of Friesland's historic churches. In addition, I document the locations and I develop creative concepts aimed at making cultural heritage more appealing to a younger audience.

Creative concepts

To introduce Tsjerkepaad in a more playful and contemporary way, I created a short video inspired by Wes Anderson's visual style, using symmetry, colour, and storytelling to present the churches from a new perspective.
